The Osceola County School District launched a program to help close the academic achievement gap, which Superintendent Dr. Debra Pace said has been exacerbated by the pandemic.
The rally was held more than a week after Osceola County Deputy Ethan Fournier slammed Taylor onto the concrete, causing her to apparently lose consciousness. Fournier was placed on paid administrative leave while the Florida Department of Law Enforcement continues its criminal probe into the incident.
