The Peninsula Doha: Qatar University’s Young Scientist Center (QU-YSC) launched a distinctive national initiative entitled “December Al-Adaam” that will continue throughout the month. The initiative aims to involve Qatar University students from all departments to celebrate Qatar National Day. The initiative is also keen to highlight, thank, and appreciate all the state and the front-liners’ efforts for their pronounced contributions and decisions to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic this year. YSC found that presenting this initiative is a chance for QU students to express their gratitude for the sacrifices made and the state’s efforts to preserve the people in peace and security and that the National Day is the best occasion to express thanks and gratitude to the state. ....
