QU-YSC, Qatar Scout Association launch 'Scout Scientific Camp'

Doha: Qatar University’s Young Scientist Center (QU-YSC) launched “Scout Scientific Camp” in cooperation with the Qatar Scout Association recently. The Camp provided an innovative environment for young participants. It was based on merging between the scientific and research aspects through the center’s activities and the educational scout aspects presented by the Qatar Scout.
The idea of the Camp was implemented because of the collaboration between the two parties to prepare a complete scientific scout programme that can improve the participants’ leadership skills and innovative capabilities. Besides, the Camp was set to build their personalities, develop their scientific skills, and support their background of scout principles and ethics. ....

QU-YSC marks National Day with 'December Al-Adaam' initiative

Qatar University’s Young Scientist Center celebrates the National Day through ‘December Al-Adaam’ initiative.

Doha: Qatar University’s Young Scientist Center (QU-YSC) launched a distinctive national initiative entitled “December Al-Adaam” that will continue throughout the month. The initiative aims to involve Qatar University students from all departments to celebrate Qatar National Day. The initiative is also keen to highlight, thank, and appreciate all the state and the front-liners’ efforts for their pronounced contributions and decisions to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic this year.
YSC found that presenting this initiative is a chance for QU students to express their gratitude for the sacrifices made and the state’s efforts to preserve the people in peace and security and that the National Day is the best occasion to express thanks and gratitude to the state. ....
