And now 100,000 troops on the ukraine border. no serious sign of december escalation. but there are talks in geneva last week between the u.s. and russian counterparts involving nato. all of those entities will be participating in discussions. so it is possible that vladimir putin wants to explore a diplomatic off-ramp that president biden may be offering to de-escalate tensions, to provide some assurances to russia that nato is not seeking to encroach on russian sovereignty. but we simply don't know that that's the case. i think we'll find out more after this call and in those talks next week...
