Hindustan Aeronautics Limited saw an 11% revenue growth in 2023-24, reaching over Rs 29,810 crore. The company secured significant orders, signed crucial agreements, and achieved milestones, enhancing its position in the aerospace industry.
The corresponding figure for the previous year was Rs. 26,928 crore, the Bengaluru-headquartered defence PSU said in a statement.
The joint venture will design, develop, certify, produce, sell, and support helicopter engines. The first opportunities identified are engines for the Indian Multi-Role Helicopter (IMRH) and Deck-Based Multi-Role Helicopter (DBMRH)
A joint venture between Safran and HAL has been formed to co-design and produce next-generation turboshaft engines.
