THE owner of a Ruthin pub who has seen her range of colourful doughnuts take off recently says she ‘wasn’t expecting them to be so popular’. Lois Meads has ran the Boars Head in Ruthin since the start of the very first lockdown last year. She recently started making her own doughnuts, something that came about because she herself wanted some. But, after attempting to sell her tasty treats through the Boars Head during lockdown, Lois realised there was a real market for them.
