An Olney man pleaded guilty to four charges this week and was sentenced to 25 years in prison. Derrick Rockenbaugh, 37, was involved in a foot pursuit in April which led to a lockdown of Olney ISD. Rockenbaugh accepted a plea Tuesday, Aug. 22 from 90th Judicial District Attorney Dee Peavy and Assistant District Attorney Phillip Gregory. He was sentenced to 25 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Correctional Institution Division (TDCJ-CID), with 400 days served in the Young County Jail.
