Sri Lankan corporations reap large profits as workers and rural toilers face poverty and starvation
The Lanka Hospitals Corporation, one of the largest of the more than 140 private hospitals in Sri Lanka, recorded a 2.8 billion-rupee turn over in the first quarter of this year, a 27 percent increase on the same period last year.
