Boutique in Gujarat fined Rs 5,000 for 'mental trauma' by ill-fitting wedding blouse
The Vadodara District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission recently imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 on the boutique, La Vichitra, for causing "mental trauma" to the woman. In addition to the Rs 5,000 fine for mental harassment, the boutique was instructed to refund the stitching charges of Rs 3,000 and cover Rs 2,000 in legal costs.
