By Janet Murikira The introduction of non-endemic fish species has left fishermen and researchers worried that this will increase competition in the Lake, further severing populations of the critically endangered Jipe Tilapia. There is a 50 per cent likelihood that Jipe Tilapia, will become extinct within 20 years. Steven Omondi does not miss his old fishing days.
