He made his first appearance in court Monday. According to the complaint, the sheriff s office responded to a report of a dead body near 55th Avenue and 10th Street SE., just east of St. Cloud, on Nov. 14. The body was later identified as 25-year-old Tyler Ecklund. A medical examiner listed the cause of death as a gunshot wound to the head and listed the manner of death as a homicide. ....

CLOUD A St. Cloud man made his first appearance in Sherburne County Court Monday in connection with the death of a 25-year-old man whose body was found last November near St. Cloud Regional Airport. Ricco Dejon Tyson, 43, is charged with second-degree murder and first-and second-degree manslaughter in the death of Tyler Ecklund, according to a Sherburne County press release. Sherburne County District Court Judge Walter Kaminsky set bail for Tyson at $2 million without conditions and $1 million with conditions. Tyson is accused of killing Ecklund and disposing of his body near the airport in southeast St. Cloud. Ecklund was found dead in a vacant lot in the 1000 block of 55th Avenue Southeast on the evening of Nov. 14. According to an autopsy, Ecklund died of a gunshot wound to the head. ....
