CALIFORNIA, Mo. -- New Bloomfield girls track and field took third out of eight teams in the Guy Rush Memorial Track Meet Wednesday at California High School.
After finishing as runner-up in Class 2 District 3, seven New Bloomfield Lady Wildcats were named all-district, the most out of the three Callaway County schools in the district.
MOKANE -- Macie Abbott's two-run home run gave the New Bloomfield Lady Wildcats the lead for good, sending them to their 11th straight district semifinal.
Returning four starters, the New Bloomfield Lady Wildcats will have a different look to the team this season, but they also bring back some quality bats and an ace with experience pitching at state.
