Perham City Council approves helping finance restorations at it April meeting. Written By: News Staff | × Restorations on the Perham Cemetery have been scheduled for this summer. Executive Director of Otter Tail County Historical Society Chris Schuelke asked the Perham City Council at its monthly meeting on Monday, April 12, to help finance the preservations. The Northern Bedrock Historic Preservation Corps, which is based in Duluth, will be staying at the Pioneer Village from July 27 through Aug. 4 to work on the restorations. If they have time, they ll also work on restoring the Pioneer Village. In order to complete the project, Northern Bedrock Historic Preservation Corps would need $12,000. While they asked the council to help fund some money, they also stated they could raise any leftover needed funds on their own. The city agreed to fund them the complete $12,000. ....
