New Hampshire bill cuts gun regulations
Are you following the activities of the New Hampshire Legislature? If gun violence concerns you, you should know that there have been several bills this session to expand the Second Amendment right to bear arms. House Bill 307 especially, passed the House and is being considered by the state Senate.
HB 307 should give parents and other citizens pause. The bill, under the name of “the New Hampshire Second Amendment state preemption act,” would “declare all ordinances and regulations null and void which have been enacted by any jurisdictions other than state and federal jurisdictions, which regulate firearms; ammunition; ammunition components; knives; firearms components; firearms accessories; and firearms supplies. .” This means that any firearm regulation by a county, city, town, municipality, ....
