Lee County Commissioner Robert Reives Sr. was awarded the Order of the Long Leaf Pine on Monday, the highest honor that can be given for state service. Reives, a Democrat, has served on the county Board of Commissioners for more than 30 years. He is currently serving his seventh term after winning an uncontested election in 2018.
