NIPD make arrests in two separate shootings KATC and last updated 2021-01-26 19:07:02-05 New Iberia Police have arrested two men in connection with separate shootings that occurred last year. According to a police spokesperson, Denzel Scott was arrested and charged with first degree murder and two counts of attempted second degree murder in a September 5, 2020, homicide on South Landry Drive. 21-year-old Eric Walker of Houston was killed in that shooting, and two others were shot.
