The 17-year-old died at Doernbecher Children s Hospital Wednesday a week after the alleged shooting, kidnapping and car chase that concluded with a gunfire exchange with police in Silverton. The Marion County Grand Jury indicted Kenneth William Peden, 20, of Woodburn, on murder charges in the case of the 17-year-old, and attempted murder of a 22-year-old and four law enforcement officers, as well as kidnapping, assault, and eluding police, according to Marion County District Attorney officials. ....
