OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE Bauer Media Cool FM has unveiled its brand-new weekend line up with a host of familiar faces and voices added to a refreshed Spring schedule. It means an early rise for Melissa Riddell, who also blogs about fashion, beauty, and lifestyle on her popular Instagram account, as she takes over the weekend breakfast slot (6-10am). Melissa has been a presenter on Cool FM since 2017 and is the biggest success story to-date of the Cool Academy. She started her time at Cool FM through the ‘Cool Choices’ programme – a scheme designed to offer work experience in the media industry to young people aged 16 to 24 – and after completing a five-week placement, sent in a demo and the rest is history. ....
Presenter Andy Baird, who was suspended from Cool FM earlier this month has left the station. In his place, a range of new presenters and programmes as the Bauer service introduces a new ‘Spring schedule’. There are new slots for Melissa Riddell, Katharine Walker, DJ Hix, and Owen Beers. Charlotte County SRO caught looking up porn during school hours CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. – A School Resource Office at Vineland Elementary School was disciplined after internet records showed he made dozens of pornographic searches on his computer during school hours. SRO David Imbruno, also known as Deputy Dave, was suspended for 48 unpaid hours, received six months of disciplinary probation, and has been removed from the SRO unit, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office. In an Internal Affairs report, detectives were notified about suspicious activity flagged on Deputy Imbruno’s school computer in mid-November. The IT department had recently ran an audit on internet usage and found more than 150 pages of blocked content from pornography searches. ....
