Health Minister Dr. Wilhelmina Jallah takes the first dose of the Astrazeneca COVID-19 vaccine on Thursday, April 1, 2021.
In an effort to dispel fear among Liberians concerning the Coronavirus vaccine, the Minister of Health, Dr. Wilhelmina Jallah along with other government officials, kicked off the AstraZeneca vaccine for COVID-19 immunization by each of them taking the jab at the Ministerial Complex in Congo Town on Thursday, April 1, 2021.
The process will continue simultaneously at eight health facilities including JFK Medical Centre, ELWA, Catholic, SOS, James Davis Jr. Memorial Hospital, Redemption, UN Clinic and the 14 Military Hospital, respectively.
Liberia has 2,042 Covid-19 cases as of March 31, 2021, with 1,899 recovered and 85 deaths. ....
