Springdale Public Schools and Ozarks Electric Cooperative have partnered with Today’s Power, Inc. (TPI) to open a new solar and battery storage facility and maximize the group’s ability to harness clean energy. The cooperative and school district officially flipped the switc.
SPRINGDALE -- Today's Power, Ozarks Electric Cooperative and Springdale Public Schools flipped the switch Monday to turn on a new solar array and battery storage facility near Sonora Middle School.
Derek Dyson, CEO and President of Today's Power Inc. of North Little Rock, said each of the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas has either built or is looking to build solar facilities.
