A year after a local dad and Olympic boxing coach died in custody, his family says they still don't have closure.
In an affidavit obtained by WLWT, Derek Ragan's cellmate claims Ragan tried to get additional medical care while he grew sicker from COVID-19.
The 24-year-old has something new to prove and for the first time, he'll have to do it without his father, the reason he started boxing.
He contracted COVID-19 and was hospitalized but his family says they were never notified until after he died.
