Local Forestry firefighters return from Oregon blaze
LITTLE ROCK — On Aug. 7, a crew of four wildland firefighters with the Arkansas Department of Agriculture’s Forestry Division left to work wildfires in Oregon. Two members of the team were Eric Rogers and Keaton Phillips, of District 6, which includes Newton County. The others were Deric Franks and Lee Chambers, of District 8.
