The University of Louisiana Monroe has announced Nicholas Bratcher, DME as the new Director of the School of Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA).
The University of Louisiana Monroe is proud to announce the hiring of Nicholas Bratcher, DME as the new Director of the School of Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA). In addition to his administrative duties as Director for the School of VAPA, Dr. Bratcher will serve as the Coordinator for Music, conduct the ULM Wind Ensemble, and teach graduate courses in music education as a tenured Professor of Music.
The ULM School of Visual and Performing Arts is set to host “In Memoriam: Dr. Derle R. Long,” on Tuesday, November 22 at 6:00 p.m. in Brown Auditorium on the campus of ULM. VAPA students, faculty, and staff, as well as ULM administrators and alumni will honor Dr. Long’s lasting contributions to the University and the community. The event is free and open to the public.
The University of Louisiana Monroe School of Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) is set to host the 2nd annual Bayouval music festival on Saturday, October 29 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at The Grove on the ULM campus. The festival will feature live music from local musicians, student art sales, food trucks, drinks, as well as live and silent auctions. All proceeds from the event will go directly to scholarships for students in VAPA.
