Millions of users urged to change passwords urgently
Freecycle has said its servers have suffered a data breach which may have exposed sensitive information for more than seven million users on the site.
Hackers stole Freecycle founder's login credentials
Swap-unwanted-stuff-for-free site Freecycle has acknowledged a security breach that took place at the end of last month. Hackers were able to access a wealth of data including usernames, User IDs, email addresses and passwords.
Online item exchange platform Freecycle has confirmed that more than 7 million of its almost 11 million users had their data compromised in a widespread breach it initially discovered on Aug. 30, BleepingComputer reports.
