Is it the heat? Arrests increased quite a bit last week from the week before with 74 total arrests in Bowie County. Bowie County Deputies made 24 of those arrests, while other area law enforcement agencies brought in 50.

The chase eventually ended in a crash which killed the suspect, as well as a passenger in another vehicle.
