South Elgin native's social media outlet Sloche puts spotlight on prep athletes
Derrick Echols knew during his junior year at South Elgin High School that his future in basketball wouldn't be as a player. So instead he launched Sloche, a popular social media brand which has built a community of fans that discuss and share highlights of the state's top high school hoopers.
