A longtime employee for the City of Valparaiso has amended her complaint against the city with the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana.
Unemployment has fallen to all-time record lows in Northwest Indiana after the workforce shrunk during the coronavirus pandemic.
"We're interested in hearing from our neighbors and learning what they would like to see in Valparaiso moving forward," Mayor Matt Murphy said.
