Erica Compos, 43, has lived in the Jefferson-Chalmers neighborhood for about five years. She was at work Saturday morning at Detroit Receiving Hospital when she received a call from her son, whose room is in her basement. 
He called me about 1 a.m. in the morning, all the water was coming out of the toilet we had put down there for him, she said.  ....
