Democracy it seems is on the decline and just last year sixty seven countries saw setbacks to their citizens Civil Liberties and political rights. The biggest threats to a democratic system are autocrats and populists. Populists insist they speak for the people. Only they say no what is truly right and wrong. They meet tricky questions with simple answers.
