Saudi Arabia announced on Tuesday the launch of a unified visa platform called “Saudi Visa,” with the aim of facilitating visa application procedures, as part of its endeavor to attract more tourists in the coming years. The country also revealed its intention to fully digitalize its government services next year. The announcement came during the second edition of the Digital Government Forum, which kicked off on Tuesday in Riyadh, with the participation of government agencies, and in the presence of ministers and local and international experts.

A woman, Samira Sabzian, convicted of murdering her husband, whom she married while still a child has been hanged in Iran on Wednesday, defying an international campaign for clemency.   According to the AFP News, Sabzian, who had been in prison for the past decade, was executed at dawn in Ghezel Hesar prison in the Tehran satellite city of Karaj, the Norway-based Iran Human Rights (IHR) group said.
