U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division last week announced an education and enforcement initiative designed to help the agricultural industry in the Southeast to increase compliance with federal labor laws.

Development in Ocala: VA clinic being built; dental office coming

It will feature primary care doctors offices, as well as mental health, audiology, eye and podiatry services, according to a U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs update on its website.
The facility is located on the southwest corner of the Southwest 49th Road and Southwest 48th Street intersection, directly behind RaceTrac and Bojangles.
Though the VA website states the facility will be be just above 45,000 square feet, an announcement last summer by the builder, Doster Construction Co., stated it broke ground on a new 60,000 square foot facility.
The new clinic will replace the existing clinic located in The Cascades office plaza, 1515 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Suite 226. The new clinic is part of the 2017 Choice and Quality Employment Act and also includes clinics in Gainesville. ....
