Kingdom FM Fife Young Carers has called on employers to be more understanding of the caring role. The organisation supports children and young people between the ages of 8 and 25 who take care of someone in their family with an illness or disability. Today is Young Carers Action Day, with the Carers Trust saying it's an annual day recognising the contribution young carers make to their families and local communities.
