Confusion over VINs on 2 different 1995 Nissan trucks
Mark Gillenwater’s DMV problems began early in June, when he sold a gray 1995 Nissan truck, bought a red 1995 Nissan truck, then phoned his State Farm Insurance agent to update his policy. But the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles never got that memo. As a result, the agency repeatedly threatened to suspend Gillenwater’s driver’s license.
