WAMC is proud to announce that it has won several top broadcasting awards for work produced in 2021.

The U.S. — and New York — will celebrate the nation's 250th birthday in 2026.

When I think of Kingston, I think of it as one of the oldest cities in the area. The old stone buildings, the history that Kingston is known for. It was even once the capital of New York State.

The award honors “A New York Minute In History,” about the history of New York and the unique tales of New Yorkers. It is hosted by State Historian Devin Lander, Saratoga County Historian Lauren Roberts and Don Wildman.
