DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — There's a new approach to tackling violent crime in Decatur. The city has partnered with Old Kings Orchard (OKO) Community Center to launch OKO Peace.
The proposed boundaries generally include everything north of Eldorado Street and south of Grand Avenue between Fairview Avenue and the Illinois Central Railroad tracks.
The Goldsboro Police Department reported the following charges:
"Stop the Violence" marchers, including community members and other participants, walked from Hess Park to the Decatur Civic Center on Saturday.
