State Patrol says alcohol was a factor in the crash.
Three people were injured in crash.
According to court documents, the trooper activated his lights and siren, but the car accelerated to 130 mph and continued down I-90 before failing to "negotiate a curve" near 6th Street NE.
Law enforcement clocked the man going 130 miles per hour when he hit a median barrier, causing his vehicle to start on fire. Multiple bottles of alcohol were found in the car.
Drugs or alcohol may have been a factor in the crash, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
