A ‘blower’ that sends hot air into the nose could treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, or COPD. The technique — which has also recently been used to treat patients with Covid-19 — was found to improve breathlessness and other symptoms of COPD by 50 per cent in some patients, according to a new study.
