A defendant in the 2020 Justin Sawyer murder who's been held for over three years in Kentucky is now facing charges of first-degree murder and abuse of a corpse in Montgomery County.
Justin Tyler Sawyer's body has been found in Northeast Clarksville — 76 days after his disappearance on Dec. 17. After a lengthy, two-month search with unanswered questions of Sawyer's whereabouts, his family now plans to lay him to rest. On Tuesday, Sawyer's body was found on Kennedy Road off Trenton Road, a residential area with homes, several churches and woodland.
