Wednesday, January 27, 2021 The Frederick W. Seaver Family of San Diego, Plus a Cousin, in 1958 Post 654 of (Not So) Wordless Wednesday I can t help it, I can t do a wordless post! This is one of my favorite photographs: In summer 1958, my aunt and uncle Walter and Evelyn (Seaver) Wood drove from Leominster, Massachusetts to San Diego with my grandmother, Alma Bessie (Richmond) Seaver and Walter and Evelyn s granddaughter, Diana. They stayed for about a week with the Marshall and Dorothy (Taylor) Chamberlain family in San Diego, where Bessie s sister, Emily (Richmond) Taylor lived. So it was a grand reunion of my father with his sister and mother after 16 years away from Massachusetts. This was the first and the last time that my brothers and I met our paternal grandmother.
