A mother whose 6-year-old son is lucky to be alive after a moped-like vehicle struck him in an East Harlem park said the 14-year-old suspect "gotta pay" the price for his actions.
Police said the suspect was riding a moped on a pedestrian walkway inside Thomas Jefferson Park when he struck the child Sunday.
