1883 Fort Collins Waterworks celebrates 140 years with Big Splash bash
While Greeley is known for constructing the city’s first water system by using a series of infiltration wells, Fort Collins actually took things further with water access by creating its first public water works system in 1883. The water works facility is located at 2005 N. Overland Trail.
