MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WV News) — West Virginia University researchers are focused on making sure residents get timely, accurate and scientifically sound information related to the COVID-19 vaccine. The vaccine began arriving in West Virginia on Dec. 14. WV launching ad campaign to promote COVID-19 vaccinations

With questions, rumors and misinformation rampant about the COVID-19 vaccines, West Virginia is launching a $260,000 media campaign to promote getting vaccinated. “I think this is going to be one of the biggest public health campaigns we’ve seen in our lifetimes,” Elaine Darling, program director for the nonprofit Center For Rural Health Development, said of the national Centers for Disease Control-funded media campaign.
