Either way, Dell Rapids is well represented in this year’s boys state basketball tournaments. For the first time, both Dell Rapids public and St. Mary will be competing in a state tournament in the same year. The Quarriers qualified for the Class A tourney in Sioux Falls and St. Mary locked in one of the eight spots in the Class B tournament in Aberdeen.
