Violent carjacking cases bring Oxnard man nearly 18 years in prison
View Comments An Oxnard man was sentenced to nearly 18 years in state prison for his role in two violent carjacking cases from 2017 and 2018, the Ventura County District Attorney's Office said Wednesday. Dionicio Salinas, 29, previously pleaded guilty to two counts of carjacking, robbery, kidnapping, felony evasion of a police officer and felony hit-and-run. The full sentence is 17 years and eight months. Most of the charges stem from a November 2017 incident.
