Bollywood star Varun Dhawan who is currently in Arunachal Pradesh, shooting for his film ‘Bhediya’, brought his philanthropic side to the fro as he reached out to victims of a recent tragedy in the area.
Two persons, including a five-year-old girl, were burnt to death and 143 thatched houses were reduced to ashes when a fire broke out in a village in the Tirap district on Thursday. Hearing about the same, Varun and his wife, Natasha Dalal offered monetary aid to the people of the village by donating Rs 1 lakh, it was reported.
Photos of the Mr and Mrs Dhawan with Lower Subansiri Deputy Commissioner, Somcha Lowang have since been doing the rounds on social media. The thoughtful gesture had fans singing praise of the actor and thanking him for his kind deed.

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan recently wrapped up the shoot for his upcoming film Bhediya in Arunachal Pradesh. He shared many memories from the state, admiring the beauty. On Monday, a Twitter account named Dipro Ziro shared that the actor and his wife Natasha Dalal donated â¹1 lakh towards providing relief to the fire victims of Longliang village in Arunachal Pradesh. He shared pictures of the couple with the locals and revealed that the actor was shooting in Ziro.
