Knoxville leaders to host COVID-19 vaccine festival in South Knoxville

Getting a COVID-19 vaccine is incredibly important but it isn t most fun thing to do, so leaders from around Knoxville are sweetening the deal.
CONNECT Ministries, Knoxville-Knox County Community Action Committee and many more Knoxville organizations are on a mission to bring COVID-19 vaccines, entertainment and education to communities that need it most.
They re hosting the first COVID-19 vaccine festival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Montgomery Village in South Knoxville.
What to expect
There will be more than free shots on Saturday. Attendees will be able to set up their own lawn chairs and enjoy free food, games, contests and shows by local performers. ....
