Kicked off in November 2022 by a $5,000 donation from First Interstate Bank’s Ambassador Program, the center spent most of 2023 raising funds to purchase two newer passenger vans to replace the aging vans utilized in the past 15 years.
The organizations represent projects and programs in Bigfork, Browning, Columbia Falls, Eureka, Evergreen, Hungry Horse, Kalispell and Whitefish.
Whether it's to compete with other employers or to create a livable income, several employers said they are raising wages and beefing up benefits packages to attract potential employees.
The event includes two segments – high school career exploration and a job fair.
The job fair features more than 100 employers from an array of fields, including a specialized focus on childcare career paths.
