Update 6pm: Lord Mayor’s Distress Relief Fund
It is heart-warming to see the influx of donations coming through for the official Lord Mayor’s Distress Relief Fund for the Wooroloo and Hills Bushfire 2021 Appeal.
We have been overwhelmed with support from the Western Australian community and would like to extend our thanks to hundreds of generous donors from around the state who have contributed to the current tally of $3,906,787.84 as of 6pm February 4.
We’d like to also formally acknowledge and thank one anonymous donor who has come forward and donated $25,000 this morning.
Corporate Australia has also mobilised and offers of financial support have begun to come in. ....
