Woman pleads guilty in fatal hit-and-run

District Judge Jarod Hofacket accepted a plea agreement in court last week under which Cassandra Jasso, 26, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of a fatal accident and tampering with evidence. Accused fentanyl trafficker to plead guilty

Antonio Jesus Carrillo, 46, of Deming, has agreed to plead guilty to fentanyl trafficking. According to a plea agreement filed in district court last Friday, Carrillo will plead guilty to one count of trafficking by possession with intent to distribute, a second-degree felony, and to a misdemeanor charge of resisting, evading or obstructing an officer.
