Ayodhya is getting decked up for the 'pran pratishtha' at the grand Ram temple being built there, which will take place on January 22 in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi
Second dinner meeting of several senior ministers, hosted by Jarkiholi, is seen as part of a Congress section’s strategy to keep Shivakumar in check
Speaking to reporters after the ‘Government at Your Doorstep’ grievance redressal programme at RBANMS High School grounds, he said, “There are many appeals during the grievance redressal meetings requesting more time for payment of property tax and penalties. There are also many plaints seeking to ease property tax payment processes. The government would amend the rules after discussing it with the officials.”
As the date for the grand consecration at Ayodhya's Ram Temple draws near, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar asserted that neither he nor the Chief Minister have received the invite to the ceremony on January 22.
Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president DK Shivakumar is the only deputy CM the Cabinet currently has, though a few senior leaders have often expressed a desire to become CM or Dy CM.
